1. Visit and Tourism - Subclass 600

This visa have following streams according to the purpose of visit:

  • Tourist Stream (Apply inside Australia)
    This visa helps you to visit Australia as Tourist, to see a family or friend or for a cruise. You can stay for up to 12 months. It costs from AUD380. While applying for this visa till the last decision regarding the grant of visa you must be in Australia. This visa can help you to extend your stay in Australia. You cannot work on this visa.
  • Tourist Stream (Apply outside Australia)
    This visa helps you to visit Australia as Tourist, to see a family or friend, for a cruise or holiday other than business or medical treatment. . Stay for this visa is up to 3, 6 or 12 months. It costs from AUD150. You must be outside Australia when you apply.
  • Sponsored Family stream
    This visa is for people who are sponsored by their family member, friend or anyone in Australia to visit them in Australia. This visa let you stay up to 12 months. Cost is from AUD150 (Sponsor may have to pay a security bond). You can study or get training while your stay. More than one application can applied to be sponsor at a same time.

Applicant’s Eligibility

  • Must be a genuine visitor
  • Sponsor must be and Eligible family member with Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • You must be outside Australia when you apply and the decision is granted.
  • You must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.

Sponsor’s Eligibility

  • Must be permanent resident or citizen of Australia.
  • Must be a relative (Partner, parent, children, brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, the step equivalent of the former)
  • Fiancé or fiancée, In-law, cousin, friend or New Zealand citizen cannot be sponsor.
  • Sponsor may have to pay security bond. (Will be refunded)

Limitations on Sponsor

You cannot sponsor an applicant if you have sponsored an applicant previously for subclass 600 and the visa is not expired yet but can sponsor the members of family unit of the previous applicant who are traveling for the same purpose as the previous applicant.

If the visa has expired and five years has not passed then you can sponsor that applicant.

  • Business Visitor Stream
    For those who want to visit Australia for business concerns and activities. Business visitor stream is here to help. You can stay up to 3 months with this visa. Cost of this visa is from AUD150. Health check, police certificate and biometric charges will be separate. This visa allows multiple entries. You must be outside Australia when you apply. With this visa you only can make a short visit (tourist activities, business meeting, conference, negotiate contracts or trade fair).

Applicant’s Eligibility

  • Must be a genuine visitor
  • Perform business visitor activities.
  • You must be outside Australia when you apply and we decide your visa.
  • You must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.

Limitations

  • You cannot work or cell any product/ services.
  • You cannot take your family with you.
  • This visa cannot be extended. For longer stay you must get another visa that suits your circumstance.
  • You are responsible for all your health care costs while you are in Australia.
  • Approved Destination Status stream
    This is a specific visa for the citizens from specific area of China who intend to visit Australia on a tour organized by a registered tour group. You must remain with the tour group. You stay will be specified by the Australian embassy in your grant letter. Cost is AUD150. You cannot work, study, stay further or deviate from tour group with this visa.

Applicant’s Eligibility

  • Must be a genuine visitor
  • Be citizen of People’s Republic of China (excluding SARs)
  • Be with the tour group.
  • You must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.
  • Frequent traveler stream
    This is a specific visa stream for People of China (Excluded SARs) who frequently travel to Australia for business activities or personal reasons. The stay can be up to 10 years, you are allowed to stay up to 3 months each time you enter Australia. It costs AUD1, 120.

Applicant’s Eligibility

  • Must be a genuine visitor
  • Be citizen of People’s Republic of China (excluding SARs)
  • You must provide the biometrics within the People’s Republic of China before applying.
  • You must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.

Limitations

  • You cannot work on this visa.
  • You can study or get training up to 3 months
  • You cannot apply for any other valid visa while you are on frequent traveler stream, other than protection visa.

2. eVisitor - Subclass 651

With this temporary visa you can travel Australia as tourist, business visitor or to meet family or friends. You will need this visa during cruise. You can visit as often as you wish within a period of 12 months and can stay up to 3 month on each visit it is granted with multiple entry. You can study or get training for up to 3 months in total.

Limitations

  • You cannot stay in Australia by extending this visa.
  • You cannot include family in your application.
  • You’re liable for your healthcare through insurance.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for this visa you must hold passports from one of the following countries:
    Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdome- British Citizen, Vatican city.
  • Must be a genuine visitor
  • You must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.
  • You are not eligible with the following:
    • A non-citizen passport
    • A British overseas, British Dependent Territories citizen, British Overseas Citizen, British Protected person or British Subject passport.

3. Electronic Travel Authority - Subclass 601

With this temporary visa you can travel Australia as tourist, business visitor or to meet family or friends. You will need this visa during cruise. You can visit as often as you wish within a period of 12 months and can stay up to 3 month on each visit it is granted with multiple entry. You can study or get training for up to 3 months in total. There is no visa application charge (VAC) but there may be application service charge of AUD20.

Limitations

  • You cannot stay in Australia by extending this visa. If you stay longer it will be considered unlawful and you ETA will be ceased.
  • You cannot include family in your application.
  • You’re liable for your healthcare through insurance.
  • Holding another substantive visa and ETA at same time will affect you entry in Australia.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for this visa you must hold passports from one of the following countries.:
    Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Republic of San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan (Excluding official or diplomatic passports), United Kingdome- British Citizen, United Kingdome- British National (Overseas), United States of America, Vatican city.
  • Must be a genuine visitor
  • You must be outside Australia when you apply and when ETA is granted.
  • You must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.

4. Transit visa - Subclass 771

With this visa one can stay in Australia for up to 72 hours before leaving by air or sea. You can enter Australia by air and join non-military ships as Maritime crew visa holder.

Limitations

  • This visa cannot be extended.
  • You cannot include family.
  • You cannot work holding this visa.
  • There must be no material change in the circumstances, during the period of this visa, on which visa grant is based.

Eligibility

  • You must meet Australia’s health and character requirements.
  • You must meet Australia’s biometrics requirements.
  • You must have your own health insurance.
  • You have to leave Australia within 72 hours.
  • Where applicable, hold a Maritime Crew Visa.
  • Sign the Australian values statement.

5. Work and Holiday visa - Subclass 462

  • First Work and Holiday visa
    This visa is for young adults from age 18-30 to extend their holiday and work in Australia to fund their trip. This visa can be extended to second work and holiday visa and third work and holiday visa. You can stay for 12 months with this visa. It costs AUD510. You can do short-term work in Australia to fund you trip and study up to 4 months. Re-enter as many time as you want within 12 months. This First work and holiday visa can help you to be eligible for second work and holiday visa if you do specified subclass 462 work for 3 months. You must pay taxes when you work in Australia. The will get no label as it will be digitally linked to your passport.
    Note: If the main purpose is work or study then consider separate visa form work and study to enter Australia.

Limitations

  • This visa cannot be extended.
  • You cannot include family.
  • If you possess another temporary visa such as a special purpose, ETA, a crew travel authority, a maritime crew visa and you enter through the First work and holiday visa you visit for this visa starts and that time will count in you 12 month stay.

Eligibility

  • Your age must be 18-30 years.
  • You must not have previously work and holiday plus working holiday subclass 462 and 417 respectively.
  • Meet Australia’s education requirements.
  • You must have functional English level (IELTS- score 4.5, TOEFL iBT- score 32, PTE – Score 30, CAE- score 147 of all 4 components).
  • Meet Australia’s Health and character requirements.
  • You must have enough finances to support you stay.
  • If you have any other visa cancelled or refused you might not be eligible for this visa.
  • Sign the Australian value statement.

You must have a letter of support if you are from the following:

  • Ecuador, Greece, Indonesia, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, Peru, Poland, San Marino, Slovenia, Thailand, Turkey.

To be eligible for this visa you must have citizen from one of the following:

  • Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, People’s Republic of, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, United States of America, Vietnam.
  • Second Work and Holiday visa
    The people who have a work and holiday visa and work in Australia for 3 months can apply for this visa. Cost is AUD150. Processing time is between 17 days to 7 months. You can work and study on this visa, study limit will be 4 months. You stay depends on the circumstances, your stay for up to 12 months from the date your first work and holiday visa expired. You are given bridging visa if you are in Australia after your first work and holiday visa expires.

Limitations

  • This visa cannot be extended.
  • You cannot include family.
  • If you possess another temporary visa such as a special purpose, ETA, a crew travel authority, a maritime crew visa and you enter through First work and holiday visa you visit for this visa starts and that time will count in you 12 month stay.
  • If this visa is cancels there will be no refund.

Eligibility

  • Your age must be 18-30 years.
  • Must hold one work and holiday visa previously.
  • You must have compiled with all the conditions on you first work and holiday visa.
  • You must have completed 3 months’ work of specified subclass 462 work.
  • Meet Australia’s Health and character requirements.
  • You must have enough finances to support you stay.
  • If you have any other visa cancelled or refused you might not be eligible for this visa.

To be eligible for this visa you must have citizen from one of the following:

  • Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, People’s Republic of, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, United States of America, Vietnam.
  • Third Work and Holiday visa
    The people who have Second Work and holiday visa can apply for third work and holiday visa. The people who have a work and holiday visa and work in Australia for 6 months can apply for this visa. Cost is AUD150. You can work and study on this visa, study limit will be 4 months. Your stay is for up to 12 months. You are given bridging visa if you are in Australia after your first work and holiday visa expires.

  • This visa cannot be extended.
  • You cannot include family.
  • If you possess another temporary visa such as a special purpose, ETA, a crew travel authority, a maritime crew visa and you enter through First work and holiday visa you visit for this visa starts and that time will count in you 12 month stay.
  • If this visa is cancels there will be no refund.

Eligibility

  • Your age must be 18-30 years.
  • Must hold second work and holiday visa previously.
  • You must have compiled with all the conditions on you first work and holiday visa.
  • You must have completed 6 months’ work of specified subclass 462 work.
  • Meet Australia’s Health and character requirements.
  • You must have enough finances to support you stay.
  • If you have any other visa cancelled or refused you might not be eligible for this visa.

To be eligible for this visa you must have citizen from one of the following:

  • Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, People’s Republic of, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, Peru, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, United States of America, Vietnam.

6. Working holiday visa - Subclass 417

  • First Working holiday
    This visa is for young adults from age 18-30 to extend their holiday and work in Australia to fund their trip. This visa can be extended to second work and holiday visa and third work and holiday visa. You can stay for 12 months with this visa. It costs AUD510. You can do short term work in Australia to fund you trip and study up to 4 months. Re-enter as many time as you want within 12 month. This First work and holiday visa can help you to be eligible for second work and holiday visa if you do specified subclass 417 work for 3 months. You must pay taxes when you work in Australia.

Note: If the main purpose is work or study then consider separate visa form work and study to enter Australia.

Limitations

  • This visa cannot be extended.
  • You cannot include family/dependent children.
  • If you possess another temporary visa such as a special purpose, ETA, a crew travel authority, a maritime crew visa and you enter through First work and holiday visa you visit for this visa starts and that time will count in you 12 month stay.
  • You cannot be employed by one employer for the time of more than 6 months.
  • If this visa is cancels there will be no refund.

Eligibility

  • Your age must be 18-30 years.
  • Apply from outside Australia online.
  • You must not have previously work and holiday plus working holiday subclass 462 and 417 respectively.
  • Meet Australia’s Health and character requirements.
  • You must have enough finances to support you stay.
  • If you have any other visa cancelled or refused you might not be eligible for this visa.
  • Sign the Australian value statement.

To be eligible for this visa you must have citizen from one of the following:

  • Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (including British National Overseas passport holders), Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan (other than an official or diplomatic passport), The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
  • Second Working Holiday Visa
    The people who have a working holiday visa and work in Australia for 3 months can apply for this visa. Cost is AUD150. You can work and study on this visa, study limit will be 4 months. You stay depends on the circumstances, your stay for up to 12 months from the date your first work and holiday visa expired.

Limitations

  • This visa cannot be extended.
  • You cannot include family.
  • If you possess another temporary visa such as a special purpose, ETA, a crew travel authority, a maritime crew visa and you enter through First work and holiday visa you visit for this visa starts and that time will count in you 12 month stay.

  • If you have any other visa cancelled or refused you might not be eligible for this visa.

To be eligible for this visa you must have citizen from one of the following:

  • Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (including British National Overseas passport holders), Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan (other than an official or diplomatic passport), The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
  • Third Working Holiday Visa
    The people who have Second Work and holiday visa can apply for third work and holiday visa. The people who have a work and holiday visa and work in Australia for 6 months can apply for this visa.
